Check the inside of the header too please.

So few have appeared its likely a run of 10 maybe less (might be unnumbered but most Bemons are 10 or 20 run sizes).

Just read in this thread there are 30, if that's right more should appear, because 30 is a big run for Bemons.

I have to disagree, I would get rediculous for this. Just craps on so many toys for some reason but thats just me. And someday Lash will sell this to me as I sold him the clear pink booska in '06 : P

if it didnt say bemon on the header I doubt the reaction would be this zealous. I think it's cool, but nothing astonishing. The old school inhumanoids figs are cooler IMO...oh yeah, and they're much cheaper.

This fig reminds me of Ray Harryhausen creatures

Crappy toy line from the 80's that featured very large size JUMBO Monster figures. There are a couple of pics in the thread. I like how all you young whipper snappers refer to the 80's stuff because you have no reference beyond that! CB hit the nail on the head - I believe the painting that was used for the FM yearbook cover was based on preproduction sketches from a movie called "Jack the Giant Killer" (1962). It was made due to the fact that fantasy films were BIG way back then inspired by the "7th Voyage of Sinbad" (1958). Jack was a low budget version essentially - starred Torin Thatcher and Kerwin Mathews whom also starred in 7th Voyage.

Figure would not be as popular if BEMON was not blazen across the header. Still one bad ass toy. I am sure we will be seeing a lot of these eventually as the mold for it I am sure was one expensive pay out! Got to get back the funds somehow and how better then to sell lots and lots of toys.

Crappy? I don't see how anyone on this board could think Tendril was anything but awesome, but that's just me...

And I beg to differ about the frames of reference, I've got my Coffin Joe box set, my bootlegged Santos videos and my Horrors of Malformed Men DVD. I just don't have every issue of FM right at hand...

Of course, if you had a few that you wanted to part with, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands

LMK some numbers and I will check the "extra" box. I have some pretty low numbers.......... young man!

I meant crappy as they are big chunk's of plastic. Have not seen a Tendril that the wires in the "Cthuhulu type mouth are not broken, The Decompose is just "wrong" - a vegetarians nightmare and the last large one who's name escapes me right now - crappy all around. Of course I am looking at them from a former toy dealers stand point mind you. Crappy broken plastic most of the time.

I'm with you...it seems like an awful lot of those did show up in yard sales over the years, and never in very good states of repair. I think I just have a thing for giant tentacle monsters with light piping effects! Could you imagine what one of those would look like after PK, Lash or L'amour got done with it???
