 Re: Tennis
Yup, that was an epic match. I've never seen Federer make so many unforced errors.

 Re: Tennis
I don't regularly even follow tennis but I thought that was a great game/battle between those two.

 Re: Tennis
I don't watch a lot of tennis but I've been following this rivalry for the last couple years or so. That was easily the best match I've ever seen. It's great to see Rafa finally win this one.

 Re: Tennis
I love playing tennis, but I don't really follow up on pro-tennis as much as I should.

So Nadal won? I love Wimbledon, but it's on in the middle of the nite here. Gotta feel sorry for Federer. But, well ... he played like a GURL you say?

Yeah Nads won It went on all~ night heh 2 rain delays, 6hrs all together I dunno if it was too gurly lol, the whole match almost seemed brutal. Nadal blasting away at full power at every shot, and Roger still getting Tons of Aces. I don't get to follow tennis as much as I'd like too, but to me it slightly seemed like Roger's getting a tiny bit weathered/old compared to the raw power of the younger guy(knowing how short a tennis career is) It was awesomel to see Nadal finally win (although I kinda wanted to see Roger get 1 more win) It was actually really cool/emotional after the ceremony etc when they got back into the clubhouse. McEnroe, who was the commentator for CBS gave Roger that lil hug and was like thanks for one of the greatest matches I've ever seen. The US Open is gonna be nuts! I can't wait to see who's gonna come out on top now.

 Re: Tennis
Yup. Men's tennis is all about power nowadays.
I kinda wanted to see Rog get one more ... but, on the other hand, it's cool that that bloke out of Abba didn't totally lose his record.
He was a much more entertaining player than Federer ever was. Plus I just love "Dancing Queen"!

 Re: Tennis
Bjorn. I see what you did there. I thought it was a great match... but I can't see the "best match ever". Maybe it's because I am not partial to either of these players, but even McEnroe was backpedalling on that quote shortly after he made it. Saying something like it was the best, or one of the best.

 Re: Tennis
rofl I like how that referenced the gator thread as well BD would be proud lol Yeah Feds isn't the most fun type guy to watch, but Nads's funky shots(under the legs over the head type) shots are fun as hell hehe Yeah, I heard the backpedal, I think he was quite caught up in the moment as well...then realized he has holding the CBS mic heh Who do you like Mel? Anyone else I should be keeping my eyes on?

 Re: Tennis
I don't even know most of the players now. I was always partial to Agassi. Followed his career from the beginning when he had the 80's hairband do.
