Post Pirate of the Confusion
So I read somewhere that there was a Came from the Sea with a green bandanna, mines black.
Also I have seen some Came from the Seas and Rustys with signatures on the back.
And Then there's 2 versions of the Clot, one with a shirt and one with a bag... or is that the same one... My Clot is the HK one and the header is signed, but he didn't come with any extras.

Basically I am really confuzzeled with the variations.

Help...

Oh, and isn't there a signed 10th anniversary as well? And he comes with a bandanna which I don't have :( (if you have a spare, I really like that one - hint hint)

None of the resources cover this part thoroughly.

The the SDCC 06 it came from the sea came with the green bandana, and most are signed by pushead since it was sold there. The black bandana was available by some other means, secret base? not sure exactly.

The rusty pirate was SDCC07 release so again they were signed by pushead since he was there.

The clot came in 2 versions like you said, one with a TShirt and one without.

HK one came w/ a clot x pushead shirt
US one came w/ a bag (i'm pretty sure)

the came from the sea has two bandannas. i think the green was if you had a pass and black is if u didn't. some have signatures because they had pushead sign it after they bought it

There have been a few Pirates that have had different releases... Clot was one, Blood was another... half of the Blood pirates came with t-shirts, and the other half came signed in a little draw string bag.

from what i remember is the green bandanas were limited to those with the S7 backstage pass and the black ones were for those that came in line after.

I have yet to see a green bandanna.

Am I to assume then that I'm missing the shirt from my HK Clot?

I meant to ask about the blood as well, thanks for that.
I still need him... :D

I have given up on the Rusty for now. Too much bad luck with him :|

If I had known it was green, I probably would have gone for it.

Would the bandana really have made a difference?

Maybe its just me, but actually getting a version of the pirate I want (figure itself), is more important than all the extras that eventually just get tucked away somewhere separate from the figure that goes on display anyway.

But like I said, maybe its just me....

Yeah... I know... and that drawer IS over flowing... but I'm a collector and as such, there is often little logic in what I want. :D

edit: oh! and I like green.
I like black too... but...

edit 2: I don't keep mine my underwear drawer. :D

Do you wear them when you run out of underwear too?

(word to the wise.....don't buy any of Cornbluth's Pushead bandanas, if he ever sells them!) :D

If anyone has any Pushead bandanas and you don't want them you could send them my way - I need more bandanas, only got one right now and it's in constant use. I'd love to blow my nose into some Pushead artwork...or tie it around my face to keep my breath from fogging up my helmet on cold mornings.

When I run out I reach in to the bottom of the laundry basket, find the oldest pair, then flip them inside out and rock em. I then, as the week progresses, work my way to the top of the laundry basket, flipping the old into the new.

I never put used underwear back in my drawer, that would be filthy. Thus, the pus bandanas are scented with that same toxic ink odor they arrive from the factory with.

You actually have 4 uses for each pair:

1st wear: the normal way
2nd wear: turned backwards
3rd wear: inside out
4th wear: inside out backwards

This way, you won't have to worry about venturing into using the bandanas as underwear.

I did not know this.

Black banadana came with Japan (SB) relaeses It Came from the Sea Pirates too. My green bandana used to stink - wonder if it still does.

Those who scored a Clot via YJ or ebay paid out of the ass for a tee and draw string bag - I know I did - $219 plus ship - ugh.

Yep... so I have one signed Blood, and one not signed Blood... cuz I'm kinda like that when it comes to clear red vinyl figures. :D
The unsigned shirt version cost significantly more than the signed bag version...

Yeah!
So were there some pirates released without bandannas? Like I said, my 10th doesn't have one, but should? or some didn't come with them?
I have seen some rustys without as well.
Though I assume that is just straight theft
