KFGU is a mostly hated series I understand - but I have all the Ikas and all the MAGMAN and I wanted to toss this up and see what everyone thinks of this - personally i like it so far - im curious to see it painted - I hate the arms I think

at least Touma didnt go the cute route on this one and tried to make it "tough"

I just don't understand the need for this...he just released the destodon thing (both full size and mini) and while not right up my alley, they seem like a good touma version of kaiju. This just seems like a "tweaked" version...but tweaked in the wrong direction.

maybe it's actually because I'm still at work and I just want to go home and chill, can you say sleep apnea... I think I got about four hours in this morning and feel extremely cranky and bitter and want to die...

Maybe Touma wants to cash in on the Monstock Destodon craze without Monstock...lol...

The arms are ridiculous.

I saw the profile photo and I kinda maybe sorta vaguely liked that, but not enough to buy it.

This is the first time that I'm seeing body pics and the body sculpt is ridiculous. liquidsky.,.,,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,..,

I get it...Destodon's wife is actually the Devil and this is their fat baby!

I actually think the body is ok. I like it being bottom heavy and those stubby legs. Just hate the arms on it.

yeah im having a real hard time gettin over those arms - the rest looks passable for me to maybe grab one and see how it is in hand - but those shoulders,, awful shoulders

I'm a fan of a few of the KFGU figs but this isn't one of them. Considering the simple paint schemes used on previous wonderwall releases I don't think this will make the cut.

I think this is so bad and derivative that it actually reflects poorly on the destudons...
It doesn't fit in well with the other pieces that he's done for the KFUGly series either..

Touma is a super creative guy with a million creative ideas,
I just don't understand this.. or who its aimed at.

first impression was that it was meant to look like a Destudon x Skull-kun collaboration.

It'd have to do a whoooole lot of damage to knock on the popularity of those Destodon minis.... I saw a set today going for 16,000 a pop!

so is Touma trying to cash in on himself???

I do like the minis..

I'm sure these have been in production for a while if they're already in the prototype stage, but if I had a figure that was going for that kind of money a month after release and I was trying to find a way to simultaneously tap into the popularity those were generating while maintaining the buzz on the originals by keeping them relatively unobtainable... this would definitely be one way to achieve that goal.

I thought that was her...but her head looked so small compared to that armor!

We're very familiar with Shokotan around here... we've got her album on pretty heavy rotation thanks to my wife (and I've got to admit...I actually like it, too).
