Those are nice - just picked one of the OG colorway. Too bad that (including the completely amazing box) they're the size of a small house. That would take up about half of my suitcase space right there. Plus I'm running out of room in my house as it is.

Not to derail the discussion about 3D album covers (almost as awesome as those 3D movie posters that are now glutting clearance bins across the land)...but any idea when/if we'll get to see some pictures of the Blobpus releases?

I've been driving my wife and family friends crazy with random queries like "When you hear that something is 'Day-Glo' but you can't see it yet, do you think of something that is really bright green or something that is really bright orange?" Currently the oranges have it, but that means absolutely nothing.

Well... let's just say I might have had a peak at the unpainted Dokugan... and you should be thinking a little bit like this.

But the DX is still a mystery!

That sounds pretty freakin sweet. What would be REALLY awesome is if it (the Dokugan) turned out to have the sort of RxH 'Slime' finish that is so elusive to me. Slime with a bright yellow eye.

Cute girl, if I remember correctly. The buckle looks cute, too...when it's not jamming itself into my lap (in either direction, it seems) of course.

There have been a few times that I've almost posted 'what the hell is 'kaiju' about that' and then I remembered that this was a post about SDCC, which, sadly, is not ALL about japanese monster vinyl. So for what it's worth--and brainless screeds on the ills of vinyl album covers notwithstanding--I'm having a pretty good time channeling my SDCC hopes/dreams through this little thread.
