If extra-terrestrial life exists, I doubt if we could even recognize it as being alive.
out physical form and visual interpretation of relaity is completely dependent on out
planets geophisycal attributes and its realtionship to the Sun.
It's a statistical impossibility that those exact parameters have been duplicated anywhere within a billion light years. The Universe is vast and endless.

Are you taking the piss? or do you really have a Bigfoot story? If you do, please tell.

When I regained normal consciousness, the visitors would be gone. i still have those. when i was younger i would have them and see the "grays" recently though, i started gettin them again, but this time i feel a presence behind me. after what seems like a huge and long struggle to get my body to move an inch, i turn around during this paralysis (while desperately hoping in my mind that there is nothing there) i see nothing and then i wake up. hate it. the feeling is horrible.

Re: has anyone here ever honestly seen a UFO?
Back when I was around 20 I had a girlfriend who lived with her folks in the middle of nowhere in western Pennsylvania. One night after dropping her off at home I was driving back alone at around 11:15 or so. I was passing by a high school when I saw a football-sized elliptical ball of fire above the treeline. It was zipping along for about three or four seconds, then it seemed to "implode" and disappeared (as in, it got smaller very rapidly before disappearing). It very easily could have been some kind of trick of the light (maybe lights in the HS parking lot?), but it sure looked real enough to me, and it was bright as all get-out. Also, I'll see your ghost story and raise you one. Taken by me in a supposedly haunted cemetery in southern Japan built to honor the dead from one of the final battles in the last Japanese civil war:

Re: has anyone here ever honestly seen a UFO?
The "statistical impossibility" argument is pretty weak given how large (infinite?) the universe is. Given the size I'd say it's statistically impossible that there ISN'T a planet that is similar to earth.

Given the size I'd say it's statistically impossible that there ISN'T a planet that is similar to earth. I think the problem is the likelihood that anything would be close enough to visit. But again it's Kozik's argument so what do I know.

If there are aliens out there, I sure as hell hope they have some need for all the garbage and carbon monoxide we produce. It would be great if they had extra ozone and ice they don't need so we could use it as well.
I also hope they don't think we're too fat.

Re: has anyone here ever honestly seen a UFO?
I used to see tons of weird lights and flying shit when I was a little kid, but after I got a bit older, I realized that having Edwards Airforce Base and Lockheed somewhat near our house had a lot to do with that.

Re: has anyone here ever honestly seen a UFO?
I lived a block away from the beach in Brooklyn and one night I looked up and I saw some lights that spelled out weird words. Turned out it was a plane with some message light system beneath it reminding people some type of beer existed. But guys the real question is whether Monster Parties exist.

Time out for one second, Monkey, is that a veiled Return of the Living Dead reference in your location info?

*we now return to our regularly scheduled programming* I hadn't thought of it like that, but now that you mention it, YES.

Re: has anyone here ever honestly seen a UFO?
I have seen a ghost. I was with a group of people in a second story apt., and looking out the window we clearly saw a figure looking in. The apparition lasted about 10 seconds, long enough to scare everybody so much that nobody would leave for the night.

Re: has anyone here ever honestly seen a UFO?
I've seen a ghost, and a UFO First my UFO story, driving through Columbus Ohio w/ 4 friends in the sky outside the window, is a trianular ship with a light at each point floating about 100 yards off the ground, it's so close you can see it clearly, it's not just a light, you can see the form of the ship. We pull over into a parking lot and watch it drop to the ground and disappear behind houses into a neighborhood beside up. We got back in the car and chased after it heading to the point that looked like it's landing zone, we couldn't find it and didn't see it lift back up the ground.
Ghost- there were a series of strange happenings in my last appartment. Noises- doors shakings, knocks on walls. I'd get the feeling something was watching me while I was in bed. One day something slapped the back of my neck and left a numbing sensation. Evevntually crazier things started to happen. One day the bathroom sink just broke and water just started pouring out. You couldn't turn it off. had to call emergency maitanace and they sent over a plumber to fix the pipes. Then one day I was brushing my teeth at about 1am and I was looking in the mirror, exactly behind the sink is the door to the bathroom, and again the bathroom door just started shaking. and I could hear the handle rattling, so I turned around and opened the door to stop the noise. I turn around to go back to brushing my teeth and behind me in the mirror I see a floating head. Now the head was not flesh. to best describe it, it looked like a clear glass head filled with light. and it floated across the room. Needless to say I dropped that fucking toothbrush, and sprinted out of that bathroom.
