 1995 Super Gyaos question
sorry if I'm being a Fresh Meat, but I'm only 18 and I'm trying to sell off my old kaiju toys and when I checked ebay to compare prices for my 1995 12" vinyl bandai super gyaos There were two bids over 75 dollars! This really suprised me; could anybody fill me in on how valuable this really is? If this isn't the right section to post this, feel free to tell me where i should. Or should i be going somewhere else to find market prices?

 Re: 1995 Super Gyaos question
I would be surprised if anyone is paying over 75 dollars for a bandai super gyaos. It is a fairly common figure from the larger bandai series. That price tag may have come on a tagged version, so if your figure no longer as the tag attached, the price will be much less from collectors. Still, $75 seems high.

I thought bandai prices were in the gutter till the last show i went to. 85 for tagless destroyer aggregate, 120 for a single figure from the 6" memorial box, 75 for a bandai titanosaurus, and so on.

With all the people selling their collections these days, I was happy to see some crazy people buying. 6" godzilla island mogueras for 45+, who would have ever guessed. Final wars 9" gigans for 90(not sure if they sold or not though).

 Re: 1995 Super Gyaos question
Whaaaaaaa......? I guess I know what kind of stuff I should start throwing on eBay because those things are a dime a dozen around these parts! Sheesh, even Biollantes (arguably one of the most expensive "normal" Bandai 'zilla figures) rarely break $75 unless they are minty in box.
And I picked up one of those Mogueras in the US for like $4 at a comic shop that was going out of business! They had a BIN of 'em!

So is there not a distinct place you can find info on your figures? Other items I'm not sure of: 12" Grand King Ghidorah 3" Hyper GMK candy figure light green spray gamera; same series as the gyaos 6" bandai irys 6" Bandai Titanosaurus 6" bandai orga 1995 bandai biollante capsule toy (?)

 Re: 1995 Super Gyaos question
as far as prices go, I have never seen an accurate source. They go up and down all the time. There are some bullpark ranges that can work on older toys, but nothing really for bandais. Megalon seems to keep his value, I really want a Bandai Megalon, but I always get sniped I wonder why Bandai don't make this fella anymore, considering they always sell on the bay. Weird.

Weird. Bandai doesn't play by the same rules 90% of other vinyl makers do... if they can't move several thousand units I don't think it's worth it for them to bother.
