 Re: Recent Anraku auctions
Monstock is not Anraku. The guy who owns it is a friend of Anraku's.

 Re: Recent Anraku auctions
but doesn't Monstock produce the actual vinyl pieces?
if not, their website would lead one to think otherwise...so you can't fault me for thinking that Anraku puts out his stuff through Monstock...which would therefore be where you'd get the run from...
obviously, correct me if I have it all wrong.

Monstock is 100% not Anraku, like atease said, they are friends. And he does not control production in any way.

 Re: Recent Anraku auctions
Anraku used to sell some stuff via Monstock. Anraku is highly elusive. The few people who actually knows him often describe him "eccentric", "mad", "crazy". For me, his pre ex-japan pieces are some of the most collectible new kaiju pieces for its quality, design, rarity and "throphy" status. It is one of the few collectibles that local collectors would still drop a lot of money on. Personally, my focus is goga and wouldn't hesistate a second to do whatever if a vader ever show up. The only other new kaiju i would consider comparable in desirability, price, collectibility etc is ANY of the 30 Series One GID Bemon.

Those pictures are so purty. Saved them as they will be as close as I'll get to one of those bad boys.
