i saw st twice back in the daaaayyyyyy....1985 &1986,,at the tender age of 14 & 15...
in trenton & philly at dingy clubs...no hair metal rock shows...they were headlining..
sad to say,,but i never saw them play a full set...
both gigs got shutdown due to serious violence,,,the skinhead scene had it in for them & made sure their shows got out of hand,,in trenton,,the skins tried to tip over their bus afterwards...drama!! the show at the channel that i went to was beyond violent as well. there was a dude in the pit with a razor blade cutting people open. a guy got taken out on a stretcher because his back was sliced open. it scared the shit out of me...i stayed far away that day... The pit at the Channel was violent in general. Any pit cordoned off using chain link fencing is typically one not for the faint of heart. That asshole with the razor had done that before, and acually did 2 years in Boxboro for fucking up some guy's face at another show. Still, it was kind of a sad day for Boston when they shut the doors on the Channel, and the Rathskeller.
