Thanks for the update Frank, and sorry to hear about the perfidy of your middleman. As I've posted here before, thieves suck.

I've not previously posted in this gripefest, largely because I don't quite understand it - I don't think it makes a difference to anyone's life whether a piece arrives in April, July or October, and I also can't believe anyone here was seriously concerned that Frank wouldn't come through.

I've said it before - the GID pickled Chaos Frank designed and painted is one of my favorites, out of a collection of 40-50 versions of the figure. Frank is obviously doing something right, otherwise Mori (who has very high standards) wouldn't keep green lighting new collaborations.

Once again I liked the pickled series a lot but the chaos just didn't cut it. The head looked like it was from a different chaos then the body.

Post Re: Coral Sea News
I thought Pickle Bigaro was fair, Pickle Chaos the best of the bunch but the Evil and Mutant really didn't work for me. I think the sticky gold paint is what made them seem bad to me. They worked in pics, but in hand it ruined it.

Also I have the same feelings on the Galtan, in pics I loved it, but in hand so much just didn't work for me, particularly the matte paint, but other things.

I realized his HP stuff isn't for me, again in pics they look cool, but when I had them in hand I didn't like what I was seeing. But that's just me, not "bashing" just putting my thoughts out there.

Sucks though, I wouldn't buy anymore due to what I felt on past releases. I'm not against future release if they're other peoples thing and are being made with creator-sanctioned blanks.

Doesn't work, there's so much paint it stains the vinyl.

Why are you still counting? Frank ended them like 8-10 months ago. He refunded everyone's money and moved on.

Kom22

and the skatedecks??

To the best of my knowledge, they were refunded as well.

Kom22

that where your knowledge suffers

I just saw this, and want to say thanks for supporting a friend Scott and speaking the truth. I have never been offered a refund from Frank for Kom22's information - the last I heard from him was that my deck would definitely be completed in July 2007 prior to SDCC that year. I have heard nothing else since. I had been given word a couple of years ago by the organizer that Frank was planning on oil painting each deck as an apology for the lateness, and not to request a refund - so I didn't. Please do not call me stupid for expecting to get what i paid for and hanging on for it. I had really hoped to get this deck, but this new information that everyone (apart from me apparently) has been refunded indicates that is now unlikely.

Glenn says take it to KR, but I am not a member on KR nor do I browse that forum. So, before anyone gets bent out of shape, I will instead take this to PM and ask Frank myself. I will let people know when it is finally closed.

I would also hope that in the same spirit of courtesy I have offerred Frank whenever I have seen him at various events over the years that he will return the same courtesy to me - I think its the least I can expect after such a long wait.

Thanks.

I did my best to put the word out over at KR about the refunds, and thought everyone had been refunded last year.

My Evil arrived today, I think it's a good 'un.

The orange face and red (not really red, sorta neon red-orange) horns are very matte, while the gold and blue/purple are more glossy - Makes for a nice effect.

Can't wait to see the Chaos ...
