Just a fyi for people who had issues with this seller awhile back.

I thought he was banned for user name shenanigans.

What's the story?

The short story is that these are all the same guy. He got 'caught' in one of his sale threads when he accidentally posted a reply with another user name. Hilarity and moderation ensued.

so what handle does he go by now?

I'm going to ask one of the mods about it. I'm just getting back into town.

Basically it was 3 different identities but the reality it was one person bought stuff and flipped it.
(I sold something recently and the name seemed familiar.)

Anyway..he offered to buy a few lots and collections but never came through with payment. Leaving a few people stranded and a lot of unnecessary drama. I specifically recall selling something for 200 to him at a great price and then a month later under a different id he flipped it.

I only bring this up as a caution to those people who got burned.

i think he said he sold something to him and he remembered the name/address being the same with crimsontide...

is there any linkable material to read? i'm pretty sure i've dealt with flatline before and he didn't seem bad...

I sold something to flatline a few weeks ago and the name stood out. So I looked back to an old paypal receipt back from November and it's the same paypal and same guy/state etc.

The thing I sold him back in november was flipped with one of his fake accounts a week later.
Then all the other stuff happened.

Flatline has been fine provided he's only using one account now and flipping shit with different ids.

I think most of the interactions were in the sales thread which got locked and is long gone.

Hey there fellas, let me try to set the record straight without being eaten alive. I was one of the 3 usernames (CrimsonTide) and only that one, i had two buddies (wand/ahart) and we all lived under the same roof, used the same computer and i was the only one who even had a bank account much less a credit card or paypal so everything that was bought or sold on SB went through my name so it looked like i had all these usernames. Now whatever the others did on here that upset people im very sorry but i guarantee i never fucked anyone on the board be it buying/selling/trading...ive never had any problems dealing with people and i think im a friendly guy. I cant really remember how the whole thing got started but i think one of us had stuff for sale and came to update it but either i or one of them were still logged on so we used the wrong name and that was that.....im just like anyone of you, i like to collect vinyl and enjoy being part of this board. Ive since got my own house with my wife and son and dont live with friends anymore ( didnt work out with my family living in the same household) this is my one and only username and i still have the same paypal. Sorry for the disturbance a while back and i hope they will let me stay on the board.....ive had good transactions with a lot of cool people even redchicken recentley and hope this kinda clears things up.

That's quite an interesting situation. Glad you were able to find your own place. I would hate to have my roommates using my credit card nos. and Paypal accounts...

Just curious, but why didn't you explain this way back when this all happened? I'm sure it would have been more understandable than simply disappearing for months before returning under another alias. Maybe I missed the explanation?

I don't have anything against any of you and haven't been burned, but i've lived with many people and it was hard enough to get them to pay rent / electricity / gas, etc. let alone credit cards and paypal account for toys.

Not saying anything one way or the other BUT it's VERY odd for 3 adult men (I'm assuming) to live together and only ONE had a BANK ACCOUNT let a lone a credit card. BUT ALL 3 collect expensive Japanese toys? I dunno, see how it sounds like bullshit when it's put that way?

we lived together in high school and we just kinda kept it that way to party and have fun and all that...we all work and have money but they just didnt have accounts to make there own paypal accounts and all that but i moved out months ago with my wife and son and all is good.

there more into toys in general, all kinds. they dont post here anymore and there more into western shit now so its better off that way.

i didnt have the chance to.......my account was banned immediatley as well.

I know it happens, but you had a wife and kid while in high school? AND you lived with friends during high school AND your friends didn't have bank accounts AND they collected very expensive toys AND you let them use your money...while in HS...with a wife and kid...in high school...living on your own...paying rent/utilities/food/diapers/etc while going to high school?

im 22....got married and had a kid when i was 18 and lived on my own when i was still in high school. And no my friends didnt use my money to buy shit, they just used my paypal account and gave me money.

Wand and AHart didn't want to come back? They seemed like pretty active contributors before you all walked off into the sunset.
