 Erol Otus - Kaiju King?
I was just looking at some old links and i ran across the site for Erol Otus who is an old school Dungeons and Dragons artist as well as a rather seminal metal record artist as well. Here are some of his pics, he could do the translation to kaiju/japanese vinyl very easily. Semi Ningen anyone Rad aliens Bemonish? http://minipainting-guild.net/eo/eoart.html

He was always one of my fave D&D artists. Especially all the covers he did for the old hardbacks, especially Deities and Demigods. Damn, wish I hadn't sold all that stuff years ago.

I think the title of Cthulhu king would be more appropriate...

i'm jealous lol you've seen nothing yet, i've successfully cloaked the levels of my geekdom for years...but here, now this board keep pushing my buttons and making me spill my beans. +1 cthulhu king... edit: I still have all those modules and books too....packed up in a comic box. I'll try and find them sometime and upload some scans.

Re: Erol Otus - Kaiju King?
wow...Erol Otus...like all others I do remember him from the AD&D manuals. I just did a search to see what modules I had missed growing up. I am glad to find out that although I missed more than half (they were very hard to find in the Philippines), I did get to play the entire GDQ series which encompases the Giants, the Drow, and finally the battle with Lolth. The whole thing was over 25yrs ago so I don't remember much, but do remember that it was a pretty awesome series. Yet more things I wish I had brought over when we moved.
