Yeah, thats a bit shitty. This toy collecting is a fairly small circle. Wouldn't take retailers long to work out who you are. I wouldn't sell you anything in the future.

Exactly. And they do KNOW who he is. They've contacted him to have it shipped back but he wrote that's keeping it, which is a little messed up.

People do sales on here all the time and I tend to believe that if an item was misshipped that the person would send it back. Not just for toykarma but because it was an honest mistake amongst the toy collecting community.

The fact that you got it, questioned it, posted pics etc and decided to keep it just irks me and is a deuche bag maneuver.

Bold is the key word here. The only reason I was thinking about keeping it was, the place I got it (not SB) is kind of shady. Not over charging or anything, just not the best customer service. Also they have been sold out for a while, and I was afraid once they got it back they would tell me they didn't have a replacement and then I would have nothing. Like I said before I would rather have the one with the logos anyway. I am going to pack him up and ship him out tomorrow. I will let you guys know the out come.

You shouldn't have to even think about it. Just because you think they're service is shitty, doesn't mean you have to be shitty.

The only place I know of that had them in the states was TT. They had them, sold out, then had about 6 or so come in & sold out again last week.

It would be pretty shitty to keep it...this was Lev's (owner of TT) bee directly from Hiddy...and it was a mistake made by someone who didn't know there was a difference...things are nuts right now with stuff at TT and this was an honest mistake.

I had no idea that there was even a debate going on here about this...I was talking to Lev about the situation the other night and he was pretty bummed about it...honestly, more good would come of it if you return the bee and get the one that you paid for...Lev is the kind of guy who would remember that gesture, and would be more than happy to make it up to you some other way...

you do what you want to do...but I agree that Karma is a big part of toy collecting...it's a small world...and calling a business like TT "shady" before you know the outcome seems a little punchy...the bee you bought is right on Lev's desk, mint in bag waiting to be shipped out to you...

They just didn't seem to be sure that they had another one, and made me talk to three different people before deciding what to do, but like I said I am sending it back. Thanks for the letting me know they do have one for me. I wasn't trying to bash any companies (I never mentioned any names) I just wasn't sure what to do. I know this is a small community, and karma is a I FART A LOT, but think of all the time you have been refunded and not got a new release. Now, imagine having something in hand and then having nothing because of someone else's mistake. I know this is not the case here, I'm just saying....

a real business makes right when they make a mistake...TT didn't just start selling shit last week, why do you think they had the bees in the first place? and at the price you bought it for?

there's no need for you to go back to lurking. If you stay in the light, and take pics of your replacement bee when it is delivered, everyone here and at TT will remember...

TT are getting bigger in the Japanese toy game . . . if I lived in the US they are one company I really wouldn't want to piss off! S'just a shame International shiping ain't the cheapest from 'em and they mark the full value on packages (guaranteeing another $50+ sting at UK customs!) or I'd order from 'em more.

I had a problem with a bronze MC Supersize that some shady gallery dude went AWOL with . . . . Lev and the customer service guys went to great lengths to explain/apologise for the delay and sort out a replacement.

I'll throw in my support for TT as well, a parcel from them went weird/missing and they totally went all out to sort it for me.
And all the folks I spoke to on the phone were really helpful and friendly.

I don't think that Dunk deserves to much of a bashing for this.
It seems he's realised his potential mistake.
And I think everyone here would have supported him keeping it if it was from some flipper.
Admittedly if I had gotten it from TT or Lulu or S7 or wherever, I would have returned it, I may have been tempted not to, but the rewards and ability to sleep at night, would outweigh one bee, and I'm not a huge fan of dishonesty.

People make mistakes, simple as.

Yup, I also have had nothing but good service from TT.
Now if you had bought this from KT I could see an argument for keeping it...but maybe I'm just a shady bastard too.
