I was just thinking about what a badass horror movie Exorcist 3 is. I'd say its in my top 5 horror movies of all time. Let me say tho that I kinda maxed out on horror movies somewhere in the 90's and havent really been interested in seeing anything new in a LONG time. But for a defiant ex-Catholic School kid, its got all the awesome blasphemy you could possibly want. That anda cameo of Fabio and Patrick Ewing as the Angel of Death! The scene where they roll by the statue of the virgin mary for the hundredth time but she got the face of the joker? Pure horror satisfaction.

Exorcist 3 was awesome. They should have skipped 2 (which was crap) and gone straight to 3.

Exorcist 3 is fantastic.
Especially that scene in the hospital.

if the third one was the one with the ceiling crawling then yes. it's got some good scares in it. Dourif creeps me out.

Yeah, the original is one of my all-time favorite movies (and I think arguably among the best American movies made in the 1970s) but I've never seen the sequels, assuming they were all really bad, by general reputation. I guess it's time to see 'em all.

No, not all, but 3 is worth a viewing.

and one of the 2 prequels is ok and has some pretty cool imagery.
Problems is they both star the same actor and have very similar plots.
So I totally forget which one to suggest
It has demonic kids and hyenas, both of which make a good film.

This is an awesome movie. The hair stood straight up on the back of my neck on that scene where the nurse walks across the aisle, followed very quickly by the guy with the giant shears aimed for her neck. That movie inspired many a nightmare..
