Post Travel Tips for Rochester Minnesota
I'm traveling to Rochester Minnesota on Thursday and would like to see if there are any areas I shouldn't miss while I am there since I'll probally be free to roam on Saturday and Sunday.

I was told about the Mall of America in Minneapolis but are there any hole in the wall places to eat (not picky on type of food), toy shops, interesting things to do other then catch up on all the movies I missed in the past few week?

I don't know of anything to do in Rochester but there's plenty of cool stuff to do in Mpls. Here's a few things to kill some time doing.

Walker art museum
Star Wars exhibit at the Science Museum in St. Paul - pretty damn cool but a little expensive and maybe long ticket lines.
Robot Love - western vinyl/art
Matt's Bar - home of the Juicy Lucy burger. Awesome. Unless you're a veggie.
Bars: Triple Rock (owned by a member of Dillinger 4), Grumpy's, plus many more.

That's a few highlights but there are way too many things to list. If there's anything specific you're wanting to do in the twin cities pm me and I'll see if I can help you out.

Thanks gabbagabba - I appreciate the spots in Minneapolis that you mentioned - I am being told that it is only a 70 mile scenic drive from Rochester to Minneapolis so I probably hang down there during the weekend
