 shipping time from grumbletoy
i sent an email but never heard back. it has been a week and a half or so since i got a shipping notice from grumble, but still no package. i wanted to see how long it typically took people to get their packages... or if i should worry that our beloved USPS is using it as a step stool in a dirty midwest office

 Re: shipping time from grumbletoy
US Customs has been giving me huge grief lately and stuff has been sitting there for days.
Also, given the fact that Grumble is in Canada to begin with, I think packages usually take between 8-10 business days to the US.

Yeah I live in Buffalo NY which is right on the border of Canada, and packages still take 2 weeks to get to me (at the very least). I learned this the hard way. It's not the shippers fault, it's delayed at customs and canadian post is just not that fast.

Shouldn't you ask Grumble and if the packaging had tracking? edit: I see you did ask (emailed) but 7-8 business days is not so bad.

Mail between the U.S. and Canada takes forever for some reason.

I think its funny how a super 7 message board serves as customer service forum for all their competition.
ha!
Hey Nokia, my cell phone from Verizon didn't come yet. What's up?

Must admit i'm overseas, but damn. Took them about a week and a half to check what postage type i wanted. Then once i confirmed and paid, it was a fortnight or so before they shipped out. Everything arrived perfectly but just very slow communication e-mails.

 Re: shipping time from grumbletoy
i guess we just all feel more a toy community as opposed to a super7 community.

 Re: shipping time from grumbletoy
I find if I ship something to the US on say a monday it would usually arrive by the end of that week, but it is always 2 weeks minimum for stuff coming to Canada from the US.

I ordered 1 thing from grumble and it took 10 days. just a heads up

 Re: shipping time from grumbletoy
Heya, Canada post's guideline says 5-10 business days for US air. Some people get there stuff faster, sometimes the boarder slows stuff down. I try to make sure that peoples packages are out of my hands within no more than a few days. I know sometimes people have to wait a bit longer than they are used to for there packages, I wish there was a reasonable way around that, but I hope I'm able to make up for it other ways. Anyway, Pickleloaf I'm not sure I got your email, maybe shoot it my way again. Anyone can feel free to email or use the store contact form to contact us. -Chris

 Re: shipping time from grumbletoy
yup i often end up waiting and waiting for my stuff. Especially buys from people on the board. You learn to be patient after a while. The border is just a hassle.

 Re: shipping time from grumbletoy
the wait doesnt really bother me... i cant complain either since it usually takes me a few days to ship stuff out myself
i was just worried that the package got lost since website orders typically come quickly
it's probably sitting at jfk with people wiping off their dirty shoes on it. i had an EMS from japan recently that made it from celga to JFK in a day... then sat at JFK for 4 days before finally making it here.
