Re: detolf stuff - updated 07.16.08
Sir you need another detolf........ That's why when i first got mine I thought to myself : "Get two you know your going to fill them!" Now I wish I got three- I'm officially out of room! I have the similar issue as the closest Ikea is 1 hour away BUT In another country- Canada, so trips are infrequent. I say you and the missus get into the car a go get another two- and something for her. Nice collection- it's pretty focused! C.

Killer detolf Pickle... love how every segment is arranged. The 'ape/kong' section is most impressive.

i found him on ebay - i'm sure someone would know the name of him. it is based on a photo of the original suit actor from godzilla stomping on a miniature tokyo wearing the godzilla pants

It's by M1 believe, nice stuff all around pickleloaf. I'm not a deltof fan, but it's cool that it's all crammed in. Deltofs are kind of sterile enough, but when displays are even MORE sterile inside the deltof, yuck!

Re: detolf stuff - updated 07.16.08
He is Haruo Nakajima and as said he is a suit/character actor for many toho films. Very important person in all this stuff we collect. Theres a great little documentary on him one of the DVD put out a few years back. Monster zero perhaps?
M1 did a few versions. I think theres some good photo on club tokyo. M1 also made a eiji tsuburaya toy. Another name we should all hold very close to our toy loving hearts.
now go get him!

 Re: latest shelf arrangement
I was doing a random search for a mekaru by bounty hunter and this post came up. I must admit you got me hooked on that sculpt. While looking at the pic again I noticed the hedoru (the only other bounty sculpt I like) is black? Never saw that version, is it a custom? Got to get myself a mekaru and hedoru. C.

Re: detolf stuff - updated 07.16.08
I need to get those shelves you guys keep talking about. Great Display Pickle. I've got one of the older Long Book case for all my toys... it's alright but they do get dusty and our cats freak when I used the can of air. I'm only twenty minutes away from Ikea.. Their are new detolf shelves with the circus type lights in them as well. Maybe when we move someday
