Hedorah Exclusive?
I just came from the kidrobot board and didn't see anything about the clear red Hedorah's. I am a suscriber and was wondering if there still is a chance to get on board with the order.
Thanks

The subscriber version has sold out, if you did not get the email - ceck your junk mail folder first, or send me an email so that we can confirm your email response.
The regular clear orange hedoran will go live very soon, and you will get an email when that happens as well. There are 60 total pieces of the regular version.

Hello Brian,
I am a Super 7 subscriber and have a few questions about your exclusives.
First, this is the first time I am hearing about the Gargamel Hedorah exclusive and I'm told it is sold out? I did not get an email. I checked my spam folder. I did , however, get the" Sorry you missed it email."
When did you let subscribers know it was available to begin with? I have not even received the latest issue of your magazine yet.
Also, it would nice if you could give the subscribers who can't go to your stores in person a chance to get a collectible they want; like the three different Halloween Secret Base figures. Could not at least one of them been made available the the rest of us who don't live in NY or CA?
Also, is there a subscriber only version of the Zargoran figure? I bought one and was told I would get one of the "sub only" versions, but I got the regular one.
To sum up, what is the point of having subscriber exclusives if you only have a handful and not every subscriber even knows it exists until it is sold out.
I know I complained a lot, but I do like Super 7 magazine and the exclusives. I just think there has got to be better way of sharing the wealth.
Also, what is your email address?
Thanks

weird...they bring my exclusives to me on a velvet cushion held aloft by 4 large turbaned men, with a full brass band playing ....straight to the house.

My email is: brian@super7magazine.com Feel free to email me directly. It makes no sense that you did not get the Hedoran solicitation email if you got the sold out email, because they were generated from the same list, and sent less than a day later. I am sorry that you did not get the original email.
I knew we were going to have problems with this subscriber version, but we agreed on quantities 6 months ago, before the first hedoran from gargamel even delivered, so we could not anticipate the demand. If we could, we would make lots more, but we can't. The regular version is clear orange as well, it just has different paint.
I am not sure why you have not received your issue yet, but other people on the board have, as they have already made some comments about the issue. You should have it any day now if you don't already.
Lastly, the subscriber versions are meant to be a thank you to our subscribers, not a "right". I realize many of you want the toys we make, and we try to go out of our way to make sure that all of the toys are announced to the subscribers first, so, getting your magazine or email before anyone else should give you that opportunity. many people on this board not only subscribe, but scour our website, so, that any news is shown here almost always before it gets into subscribers hands due to the instant nature of the internet. That is why we began the subscriber emails this issue, just so you would all know first.
The halloween set was a store exclusive, and was not connected with the magazine. Sorry if that caused any confusion. Same thing here, when we agreed to make it almost 12 months ago, the demand for SB was very low (much less a total run of 250 figures in one month!) so we only made 50. If we had known demand would be that high, we would have made more so no one would have been left out, but I do not think anyone could have predicted the outcome!
All in all, we are doing everything to make cool toys and let everyone get in on the party. Sorry if you feel left out, we don;t mean to.

i think one of the problems why they were gone so fast is because the news was leaked on the KR boards. as soon as people saw that there were only 15...boom....gone!

yea, those subscriber zargorans were around for a long time before they sold out. maybe it's because those were hardly advertised.

Thanks for the fast response Brian. I sent you an email a few minutes ago
and got this message
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <"<brian"@super7magazine.com>
I don't think it my email, I don't seem to have trouble emailing others addresses, though in the past I have had trouble replying to other Super 7 email addresses.

My situation is similar to Cralya: I got the sold out email only - no solicitation email. Also have not received my issue in the mail.
So there's another 60 Hedorans on the way? I think I also saw a mention of yellow Hedorans. My guess is over time there will end up being plenty to go around.

I think the email problem may be you have a " mark after my name, not at the end of the email, try it again, brian@super7magazine.com and see if it works or not.
There are 60 regular versions coming, the sales went live today, you will be getting an email asap!
I think because the solicictation email had 3 attachments, it appears that most everyones went into junk or virus filtering. I am not sure how to get around that.
look for your issues! I think your potsman stole them!

In my case, the "sold out" email was indeed filtered to junk, but I review all headings in my junk folder and there was no solicitation email sent. It's not a problem for me anyway, but I thought you should know that there may be another glitch somewhere with the actual mailing list.
So regarding the orange Hedorans: the description says they are translucent, but to me they don't look translucent in the photo on the S7 Mag website. Is that just me? Thanks!

I have had some emails from S7 previously not make it to me because they wound up in my junk folder. Since then, I always check the folder before I empty it, but I don't think I got any correspondence about this subscriber exclusive this time. Because my magazine copy still hasn't arrived in the mail yet, I wasn't fully aware of what the offer was. Bummer!

hyperparasite - if you haven't done so yet, check the super7magazine website under exclusives. The orange Hedoran is there for purchase. Also a very nice-looking Toygraph transforming godzilla!

good tip John - just went over and purchased it. I may have one of the first Hedorans, the green & purple one, coming over in the near future so I hope I got to the orange in time.

There is no subscriber red hedoran, the red was gargamels first release color waaay back.
The photo on the exclusive page is of an opaque orange vinyl, but this is the test paint, -the final version will be a clear orange.
