What's wrong bannana? Why the long face?

Image

I really like the style of the Pilot Ace sculpts and the HH stuff is great, but why another standard scale Mecha-Godzilla? There are a ton of great MG sculpts by almost every company already and an endless number of paint and vinyl variations of those. The M1-Go Space Titanium version will never be topped anyway. Why try? Toygraph did something very interesting with their transforming sets, this just looks like yet another very nice, accurate, MG sculpt. Ho hum. The paint and color aren't exactly setting my world on fire either. I would have rather seen another new Harryhausen sculpt.

grumble, grumble, damn kids.....

i know the green one on top of the rock is....im assuming the others are but not sure.

Interesting - That green one on the rock looks a lot like the green Thorn/Cactus Rainbow piece, but with his 'flap' closed, concealing his pink interior and eye. Is that correct? Don't recall Rainbow previously doing two different poses of the same figure (and it's not like the Cactus was such a big hit anyway, as Rainbow goes).

I think it's the same fig. Heres a better shot from kt's flickr. THe paint application looks really good.

Hey TT - if you look real hard in the lower left corner - the head is the Dragon from 7th Voyage of Sinbad!! That's another Harryhausen sculpt isn't it?

anyone know whats up with the giant looking Ymir from 20 Million Miles To Earth?
was that just for display or a proto production piece? looks just like the stop motion puppet Ray used in the film. i love my X-plus versions but these are so exciting, hope they do a bunch more.

Top one is Kibaruyge (Fangs Ruge) from episode 27 of Barom-1.
A vampire who turns children into monsters with fangs.

The second photo is a villain from Inazuman.

Both are Rainbow releases.

Which ones are you refering to? The last few one that liquidsky is talking about are done by Rainbow. S7 has some and YJA has a lot.

The Votoms vinyls are pretty hard to get. I've yet to see any for sale. You're lucky to have them.

The maker, btw, is Sakamoto Showten. From what I've heard, he's basically a one-man operation from start to finish.

Thanks Akumen, you always bring the knowledge, I used to have a link to a funny site that stocked them but that link is long buried in back up land somewhere.
