If this one doesn't grab you then this set isn't for you.

Mc'Obake
Sorry but I don't like it. The brain and bee are awesome looking, but the damaged and this, not so much for me.

 Re: Voodoo Obake: It's Alive
I figures an obake would be part of this set and I was afraid it was going to be the mouth that looks like a big tomato splat version. Sooo glad to see the original obake. How could he die off - he's a fucking ghost!

 Re: Voodoo Obake: It's Alive
This is the only one in the set that I like. The others aren't crap, they just don't connect with me, but this is really nice.
I don't remember SB actually saying the old Obake was retired like the Ghostfighter, I just thought they busted out a new one, but I don't keep up as much w/SB news.

 Re: Voodoo Obake: It's Alive
Are these figures rubbed with vegetable oil or something before being photographed? They always have a beautiful lustre, the colors deeper and richer than the figures 'in hand' and the clear parts look almost like glass whereas on the actual figures, the clear areas look very dull, almost cloudy. (In this particualar set, this seems most evident on the Damaged Brain, but it's true for all of the figs)
Is there a way to get that 'polished' look at home without ruining the figure or compromising the paint application?

 Re: Voodoo Obake: It's Alive
one of the nice things about following this voodoo series is that it gives me a chance to get some sb fig sculpts that i don't have any of yet. before this series, i had a ton of skullbrain, but nothing else.
this one looks pretty kick ass. and i totally am digging the whole reverse color scheme of the first 3 in the set!
