I feel like I've also seen a toy or robot design that looks very, very similar to this Tobor toy, in particular, the arms. Can anyone remember what this is?

Oh man....I HAD that TOBOR when I was a kid. This guys design looks like a little wind up robot with a clear domed head I had back in the day.

I agree the figure kind of sucks, deffinitely sits on my bottom shelf. But I was talking to the guy, and he was just chasing his dream. Could you imagine hand painting 320 of those bitches. He did the whole sculpt, contacted the factory forwarded them a grand then waited nervously while they ignored him for the next month. Lost 100 of them in shipping and seemed pretty cool about it. So congratualtions to him. I bought one just to support that kind of ambition.
