Frankenfink - By Johnny Ace and Garageworks
I saw this on VinylAbuse Quote: Followed by the 60s Hot Rod classic icon the “Rat Fink”, created by one of the originators of Kustom Kulture, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth. Johnny Ace studio & Made by Monsters are proud to present the new born legend “Franken Fink“.
This highly detailed F.F vinyl figure is standing 18″ tall and custom airbrushed by Johnny Ace & Kali. Don’t miss out on the 1st F.F toy ever made! Limited 100pcs worldwide. Expected release date on Halloween 2008. The sculpt doesnt wow me personally but its got a serious pedigree. Johnny Ace and Made by Monsters who are the guys who make Amos and Bountyhunter toys. Thoughts?

Pretty cool, but I'm sure it will be WAY out of my price range.

dig the style, I like the Rat Fink features that crossed over, especially the mouth.

I love both Frankenstein and Rat Fink so this to me is fucking awesome, I would probably consider cutting off a foot to get one of these.

Holy cripitty-crap. This is the best looking Lagoon Monster I have ever seen produced. Is that a vinyl piece? Any info on a possible place to score this marvel would be great, if available. LamourSupreme wrote: It's nice, may make a nice addition to this figure which is 22.5"

Much better than the pic. They've started to produce other vynils as well. They have an amazing store. Worth visiting.

Might be out there around Halloween time. Hopefully I will have time to check them out in person. I'm excited about this piece, cant wait. LamourSupreme wrote: Zaaier wrote: That thing is huge. Worth visiting. me and a buddy both preordered this (the Creature) from amoktime yesterday...talked to Larry, who sounded like he was Mr. Amok. Couldn't have been nicer. They should come out around Halloween he said. Preorders are a breeze, too: you don't pay until it's ready. So it's really a win-win. Thanks for the awesome link, Joel. TOTALLY amazing toy and for a somewhat guilt-inducing price. Gogo 1:3 scale! I happen to like Frankenfink too...it's just going to be high comedy if it comes out with a $300 price tag and this gem is sitting right below it, daring you to buy 2 for that price.

Re: Frankenfink - By Johnny Ace and Garageworks
got a response when i woke up this morning:
"The FrankenFink retail price would be $225USD. Due to massive inquiries, we require 25% deposit to reserve 1 only per customer. Let us know if you are interested, then we will send you paypal deposit invoice. Let me know if you have further questions."
not quite 300 bucks....still steep but a little easier to swallow, methinks.
