Post distro stores.....revisited.
i was searching through the forum, and i can't find the thread about the distro stores. anyways, i was wondering if Kung Fu Toys was part of the circuit. i've noticed they have all the updated S7 stuff, but i don't remember them being on the distro list....

I'm pretty sure the toy guys in Japan don't -just- sell to Super7. A lot of stores had access to this stuff pre-distro, but it just wasn't nearly as regular or well-coordinated.

just seemed wierd that all the releases on kung fu coincided with the releases on S7 is all. i didn't think they were part of the distro, just checking.

Also, if you look at the bottom of the Kung Fu home page, they have a running ticker of Upcoming Releases. Super 7 is on there, so I assumed they received direct from the source--but then again, I also thought that of Lulabell and Rotofugi ('cause they always seem to have the S7 releases).

I got to pimp my homie Paul's store because he is content to just be open and rocking in Louisville, but to be honest Ultra Pop is with out a doubt one of the coolest stores in the south! Not only is he a member of Super7's distro network, but Paul is definitely bringing the vinyl to the entire southeast! He has people from as far the Carolina's and Georgia coming in to pick up vinyl. He won't say much here on the board cause he is modest and just happy to be open at all, but for real Ultrapaul is one of the best ambassadors for Eastern vinyl going. Though in a smaller market than other distro stores he is still bringing the heat on SO many levels!

He will kill me for this, but here is his page http://www.ultra-pop.com

Paul's a stand up guy and judging by his enthusiasm and his love for toys, Ultrapop must be some amazing oasis for vynil down south. I hope to visit soon.

Jumping on the UP hype bandwagon. Ultrapop rules, it's 6 hours from me, but now if I'm ever going through KY I plan on hitting it. Paul is reason enough to go, he also happens to sells toys, books and shirts.

Like this hype about a new shop--especially over in the South; a place that traditionally gets a bad rap for not being as competitive with West and East Coast radicals.

Thanks guys. Even though I am usually a smart-ass, I am humbled by your compliments. It is enough for me to actually be able to sell the toys that I love and see other people share my enthusiasm for this hobby. Thank you.
