Nice shot Chad! So colorful. I admit, I only know about half of these characters but the all look pretty sweet displayed together.

Is that Kamen Rider Stronger you have bagged in the back left a Bandai? I love that character.. The only one I have is this one:

Post Re: shelf
Yes, it is KR Stronger.

That photo in your post; I have most of this series (5-inch Popy Kamen Riders on bubble card) but not your KR Stronger. For some reason the Stronger has no special features other than the nice card and scarf (unless there is something I can not see) but the other figures in this series have removable masks and fists. I don't know why they all don't.

But the graphics are great on every card!

Ooh. Questions.

Who makes the giant Majin Bander in back?

Also, who are the two standard size fellows (green and black) directly to the right of the Kittyfire?

The giant Majin Bander is made by Marmit when they were called Trans America. The toy comes in a box with multiple heads.

I would trade this toy.

I love your giant Chameleon - he's one I've been after for a while. But what's the deal with the giant cobra-dude - his arms look like they were taken from another figure.

Thanks for sharing - I love seeing shots of vintage stuff, especially when it includes Kamen Rider villains.

Post Re: shelf
I got the giant cobra dude minus both arms (it did come with 1 detached arm but it has no lip around the shoulder piece to fit in the hole) and another vintage bandai kr bad guy in a single Ebay auction for $20.

One day, the S7 store put up a giant-sized KR good guy (I think it was V3), really beat up except it had 2 arms... Bingo! I think it was $20...

He's not perfect but a giant-sized vintage vinyl for less than $40 sounds pretty good, even if he's got mix-and-match arms.

What series is the Majin bender from? I picked up the recent one put out by Charactics. Reminds me of the robots in Miyazaki's 'Laputa: Castle in the sky': Image

Post Re: shelf
The clear yellow guy is Picdoran from Mazinger, made by Romando in the late 90s. (I can't remember if it is Mazinger-Z or Great Mazinger, as I have somehow lost that part of my brain when my super robot collection went away.) Luckily, Sjoen is here to own us all on the Super Robots. Teh Romando figures were some of the first new style retro soft vinyl figures, and are great.

I always think the same when I see Benders. I would kill for some Miyazaki sofubi from a company like Charactics.
