 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
Bianca, so cool to share childhood photos. Myself, I remember having a bucket full of legos, lincoln logs (to build log cabins), major matt mason sets. The first toy that I remember is some truck that would shoot out sparks when it rolled across the floor. Nostalgia.... bianca wrote: I loved my death star (omg, an elevator!) but really the old fisher price little people w/ the sesame street set along with a hefty dose of legos were my favorites. (In the below picture, I am throwing a birthday party for one or all of the little people.) My dad was totally into tea time!

This was my absolute favorite. I almost sold him 4-3 years ago when the new Transformers comics came out with the G.I. Joe crossovers and Thundercats crossovers. Heres my piece

Actually if memory serves me right there are 5 Voltrons. Lions Land vehicles Space ships Motorcycles & 1 I'm not sure of. Possibly aquatic in nature. hellopike wrote: DeJesus wrote: i have no clue which one i had when i was younger...but its similar to this VOLTRON: DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE! Mmm. Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
It has always struck me as odd that they made Toxic Avenger stuff for kids. Like what the hell were they thinking? Oh, you know that movie with the all the tits and that part where the guy gets his head crushed by a car? Yeah! The kids LOVE that stuff!!! Really wholesome! Sod the Care Bears! The kids want real guts!!!

It had seeds early on in He-Man and Ghostbusters with slime stuff, but than it really hit full blown w/ TMNT and even stuff like Madballs. I loved growing up than, all the stuff that had guts and garbage and slime and snot and ooze. Now everything is so........sterile

Now everything is so........sterile Kaufman & Herz were and are geniuses, but not enough from saving them from getting royally screwed on the whole Toxic Crusaders thing. speaking of Troma cartoons, they was a pilot toon episode of Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD that never aired, done by the same animation crew as the Toxic Crusaders, I believe. The entire pilot episode is an extra on the Kabuki dvd release...

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
I wanted the AT-AT more than food as a kid, but never got it. I don't hold anything against my parents except that.
That Fisher Price adventure set was AMAZING. I think I liked it because it was like a real-world element to mix with Star Wars & GI Joe toys. These were the "normal people" like in Land of the Lost to help you navigate the toy world.

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
That Megatron was awesome. Mine didn't survive. Not many of my toys did. I played the fuck out of them. I still have my Optimus Prime though. I had two of them. a regular one and the one with the Pepsi trailer. The Pepsi one is long gone.
I wanted that Voltron so bad. It never worked out but at least I got to play with my friends'.
