Nice post hypermook. I always loved watching it as kid and how the smog monster *dissolved* people. I'm going to have to go find that re-mastered dvd. I haven't seen a godzilla flick since I was about 12! Now if only they would make a Ultra Q DVD set Region 1 I'd be in heaven.

Stick with the 50th anniversary versions(says so at the top of the box) and the Godzilla collection boxed set(the cover has the circular porthole and you can see goji thru it)
The rest of em are the shitty versions from 7-8yrs ago with just the bad dubs and crappy visuals.

Specially the boxed set versions are lovingly treated. They contain both the original and the remake american versions for each movie. The commentaries and featurettes are just Amazing! (making of the goji suit, art of suit acting, Ifukube Akira bio, Tsuburaya Eiji bio, Tanaka Tomoyuki bio, Honda Ishiro bio, women of gojira lol)

And just for fun...I think we might see HD versions coming hopefully soon!! *drool* They remastered ALL of them into Hi-vision and are broadcasting them on TV in Jpn right now! I can't wait
