hey now, I won't buy ANYTHING that's pink...just the good stuff...the problem is that there has been a massive amount of "good stuff" being put out in pink lately...i haven't even opened up most of the shit I've bought in the last 2 months...there's way too much to get to...and now another mini brood of pink pals to track down...

I haven't seen the ryusei stateside but there are some up on yja.

Just received both the pop soda mini and the pink borg mini, they are great. I am really excited for that painted version of the borg because I really think it translates well into the mini. I'm going to have to slow down on these but they are still sweet!

Nope. No eye-patch. I'm kinda on the fence about this mini. He doesn't have the same beefy feel as the regular Ryusei. He's still pretty cool.

I'm with you on the lack of beefyness. I like the full-size ryusei more. I'm holding out for a possible gold lame w/ scarf.

So, it's this clear grey/black mini Ryusei (that's still up FS at S7), but painted on the inside? Cool to see some more 'secret' versions -- As much as I love Super7 now getting virtually every new RxH piece, it was exciting back when Mori used to issue a tiny run of a variant along with most of his releases. That practice got us some RxH classics - the Walder Variant Akro springs immediately to mind.

yes, if you hold this mini ryusei against the light, it appears that purplish/red paint were poured into the clear black vinyl.
if you have the chance, i would recommend buying one and seeing it for yourself. with the recent decline in interest, i think serious collectors shouldn't have problem picking this up.

Perhaps stateside will have the bigger share of the run as usual. There are certainly not too many available japan-side observing from the ichi store sale.
