Re: non-kaiju collection...
i think i got the skit-bots in some sort of trade. some friends and i have this hobby of garage saling and buying toys that cover a wide span of topics. old 80's mini rubber guy figures, starting line-ups, beetlejuice, joes, mcdonalds toys, etc. anyways, we get together occassionally and just trade this shit with each other. it's kinda like we trying building some focus to our collections of random shit. well, i think that is how i acquired these. if there is some garage sale find that one of us wants off of the other, we start building up this pool of shit. like we keep throwing in a bunch of stuff, hoping that the bigger the offer gets of junk, we'll convince the other to trade there junk. i beileve one of these situations is how i got these. i might be wrong, cause i also do remember getting some wierd little mini-figs when i ordered all the usagi-gons i used to have from that place that shall not be named....
the full moon guys are some of my fav figs. i got them from full moon directly many many years back. they all used to be in there packages, but years of moving around and storage ruined all of them, so i just opened them. the giant sized blood spattered Blade pm fig located behind deadshot and the little chick pez things was from Spencer Gifts, I believe...
Glad you all dig the stuff, and sorry that the skit-guys took away from the rest of the junk here....
oh yeah, and that madman kicks ass, huh? one of my favorite non-kaiju pieces. i think he was an exclusive toyfare magazine mailaway, at least that's what the bag he came in said something about. picked him up in this giant clearance bin at Schinder's. that was this place in MN that we had a few of scattered around a few years back, they were cool. really large shops compared to most hobbyish shops that carried a lot of obscure books, bootleg horror and monster movies, baseball cards, comics, and the largest and most random variety of toys. they all went out of business though...
