 Re: Republican or Democrat
I'm neither, but lean left on many (but not all) issues.

 Re: Republican or Democrat
Why? All it does is split people up more, separates us, starts heated fights etc. I hate both sides equally, to be honest. They both screw people, just in different ways, one isn't better than the other.
What I appreciate about the Republicans, almost, is they're so BAD at hiding and lying, I don't have to work as hard to find reasons to dis-like them. The Democrats though, those slimy snakes, they've done so many horrible things and just cover it all up way better (my dad worked for the Democratic party in IL for decades, the shit he's told me, stuffing ballot boxes, ruining lives by passing the blame, lots of crap, horrible people.)
Where's the "Pissed Off at Partisan Bullshit" party?

 Re: Republican or Democrat
Where's the "lesser of two evils" option? That's generally how I vote.

 Re: Republican or Democrat
They both looks like crap to me. I figured out that watching any aspect of this race on TV is too biased and loaded as hell. Its true, there are no more news reporters or journalist, just parrots.

 Re: Republican or Democrat
For those who are in the 'who cares' category - If you don't vote, either hold true to your belief that you don't matter & shut up or, better yet, decide that your opinion does matter & weigh the issues/philisophical differences (women's right to choose; universal health care; separation of church & state; gun-boat diplomacy; and so on) and fucking vote!!! (Even if you view it as a 'lesser of 2 evils'.)

(Even if you view it as a 'lesser of 2 evils'.) I'm in the who cares category, I'm still voting, just not for McCain or Obama. No one seems to be saying they're NOT voting. I'm voting, I'm just not letting it go to one of those 2 parties, even if it's considered throwing my vote out.

 Re: Republican or Democrat
Hating the parties is not a reason to not vote for one of the major candidates, imo. I hate the parties too, but I'll be casting my votes for one of them.

I hate the candidate MORE. I hate when people tell me voting independent is throwing my vote out, ask who they like than say I'm voting the opposing party to spite them. I don't though, I still vote independent. I don't vote to show what I support, I vote because the process of voting, the act, is important. If people don't vote we may lose the privilege one day. But if we only REALLY allow 2 parties only, than we suffer too. There always needs to be another option even if you KNOW it won't win. Again, if we only allow the 2, someday they may become the same (seems that way to me already) and there would be no REAL choice. Just 2 giant, rich, not-caring-for-the-people assholes in suits claiming they do care and not doing anything but some cosmetic crap to prove it. I don't really like many of the independent parties either, but it's more like a hey Dems and Repubs, screw you, eat shit for doing nothing and lying, I hope you choke on it" type vote.

And registering and deciding to not vote, is a vote to me. I do really want to see the debates, should be interesting and amusing to say the least. And as for C-Span and PBS,I think I might have heard of them, but I recall they are puppets not parrots. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKnhTUBt ... re=related

So long as you're actively getting out that specific message (especially against McCain ). I think Jesse Ventura looked at the GOP convention speeches and compared them to Nazi rallies. Can't knock him for that.

When the DNC was on I said "why do they all talk with inflections the way Hitler did?" than when the RNC hit I said "Hey, they do too, how odd?!"
