not enough color for me, red on the torso and boots wouldent have been that hard, or maybe even a golden belt buckle

I actually like that it's a sculpt that wasn't the obvious choice. I thought Kinnikuman right when I saw it--but I'm just not a fan of the flesh/red color combo. But still, I like the idea. I think it works.

Seeing the pic above for this figure reminded me that I'm kinda hungering for some killer RxH paint sprays....like that gold Chaos or the clear vinyl with powder blue fade set.

The painted shorts figures have been cool (I dig that yellow Ichi Chaosman..) and lately releases seem to be taking advantage of paint masks.......I hope nothing is up Mori's painters.

...I'm with you there. And I hope that there isn't anything going on with the painters. there have been a lot of masked colorways lately. They're cool, but I find myself not as excited anymore.

oh man, if that set became a reality...I could finally stop collecting RxH (for just a month or two ). That would be "it" for me.

I doubt there's any painter problems just because of the abundance of recent short-painted figures. Mori works how he wants to, remember last year? Non-stop unpainted figures and "gold mist" for a while and we all bitched, than he hit us with some more fury.

One thing I respect about RxH, and all of the indie vinyl companies: They do what they want, when they want, regardless of what seems "hot" or not.

A thing I think is positive about this one is the back of the header using the original "Kinnikuman" font.

That's not Mori's fault, I doubt he planned that. Plus everyone makes mini's, but who makes mini fight figures?

how easily we forget...! Mori has hit us up with so much radness that I forgot all about last year's line up with the no-paints and one-paints and all. even some of those were good IMO (shintosan).

Mori is in his own world. I won't always "get it", but as a fan, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I think we're responsible for the hype. Mori just works hard, pumps out the sweetness, and maybe post a pic or two on the RxH site--then it's back to work.

hype is a weird animal, but I think we have to like it first for the hype to even stick. In the RxH scene, it seems to me that hype only comes if the fans even like it to begin with. remember the flesh no-paints?

The clear blue fade with pink eyes mutant head is awesome, if that was a set I would finally have to buy some RxH.

I like this guy too, I would have liked it better as a mutant though, so you had the evil devilman, the toxie chaos and the MUSCLE evil. I like obvious choices, makes them look bootleggy.

I do like the font/effect choice for the back of the header. matches the muscle toys of yore.
