I think that b/c so much detail and texture is already in the character sculpt, the paint loses the actual characters, because the colors and paint design are so complex.

It is a seriously crappy pic, maybe I'll try for better if the sun ever comes out again here in 95437 (currently at 9 days and counting without even the briefest peek at Sol).
