That thing is crazy and hefty. The iron beast is pretty much std 9" but the sculpt makes him really chunky. Yup, don't drop him on your toes. toybotstudios wrote: wow, 3.5"...really? they look bigger than that.

thanks! Yeah, I thought they were larger too. I think its because of the amount of detail on the sculpt and colorway are quite refine. In fact the turtle looking fella is 2.8".

You're most welcome. You might want to check out YAJ now. You could most likely land one at retail , but gotta factor in the commission though:( But if its Zag or Dag its going to take a miracle to get it below Y10000. It was a frenzy yesterday with the Mandarake ltd Zag n Dag.

Since there were only 12 and 9 ended up on YJA, I wonder if any other skullbrainers nabbed any? Whoever cre***** is, they ended up with a bunch and bid on almost everyone. Found that strange. Got the standard size GID Dag and standard WCC Bagun coming also with my next Celga box due in Sept sometime. Whoops jacking the thread- back to Shikaruna photo appreciation. C.

Actually, there were 24 - 12 at each of two stores. the 2 stores each carry a different figure with a run of 12 each. amazing to see almost all of it went straight to YJA, makes me wonder if there's any locals collecting japanese toys at all.

Actually, there were 24 - 12 at each of two stores. Theres 2 stickers. Blue is Madarake at Shibuya, green at Nagoya. I can't find any diff on Zag so that makes 24 of him. But Dag has 2 colors. Shibuya is met-blue stripe while Nagoya is met-green stripe, that makes 12 each of Dag. I like the green Congrats Lixx. On Zag- with a ltd run of 24 and super dope paint apps its not going to hang around for long. You'd probably wait till the next eclipse to find one. Theres a few more though...better hurry.

Those are really killer. Wish real-life didn't get in the way and I never had to sell those blue Anrakus, they're beauties. Nice taste all around man!

Re: My small collection of Shikaruna Koubo & AnrakuAnsaku
are you sure those are one-off's? Ive seen them offered recently through a few places...but haven't gotten around to grabbing them....(but possibly those are a different paint scheme on clear blue vinyl)
edit: ok just checked...nope....pretty sure this is a production run.

Those painted clear blue Shikaruna mini's are super cool, i'd like to see 'em displayed next to their painted clear orange brothers.

Re: My small collection of Shikaruna Koubo & AnrakuAnsaku
Super7 will have painted clear blue and painted clear orange sets soon! Oddly enough when we were at the Shikaruna shop they kept calling the painted blue set a "Super7 exclusive". We had no idea about this set but we were happy to oblige. To be honest I am still not sure what the deal is with the painted clear sets, all I know is we ordered a handful of them. So hold tight. I posted this in another thread but I guess I should say it again: send me an email ( glenn@super7store.com) with the title "Shikaruna List" and I will send you info about future releases we can get. Right now I am a little scared to carry the full size vinyls because they are so huge. Maybe you guys can change my mind. BTW - I am not posting this info in a separate thread because I don't want to hype this line up too much. These toys are still accessible, the full size vinyls were all over the place in Tokyo. If you are a fan I suggest you get yours now before they disappear. In my opinion this is the best new toy line in the last couple of years. I suspect it is just a matter of time before these early releases become impossible to find. Heck even Kiyoka digs these toys even though he is responsible for making a few of these characters famous! I still can't believe they are making an 8 part mini (four armed zag). Absolutely stunning! Collector Hint: Robot Robot in nakano broadway has the best selection right now!
