I would never defend that but I can say they have denounced their homophobia many times now in interviews. Basically chalking it up to being "young and ignorant". I recently read an Interview with darryl jennifer who talked about it at great length. I wish I could remeber what magazine it was in. anybody else read it? He talked about being a young rastarfarian and just being to over zealous.

Re: a few things I saw yesterday: If it wasn't for being young and ignorant a lot of hardcore/punk wouldn't exist. Being PC was never really part of it nor should it be in my opinion, whether you disagree with what a certain band felt at a certain point in time or not. Thats why it has always been controversial and fun, if they started to be PC about everything people disagree the music would suck.
