 Flynn is a bad influence
Two years ago when I went to Tokyo I just wanted to find RxH, Secret Base, Anraku and all the other new stuff. Apparently if you spend enough time with Brian and allow him speak freely about toys your taste change over time. These are my vintage finds from the trip, I will post better pictures of the Popy vinyls soon. Thanks for being a wise and patient teacher Brian! I really love these toys. (sorry I cut off leaf man's head in classic tourist style!)

Re: Flynn is a bad influence
Agree. My collection shot off the roof after the 1st ever Super7 zine and " So Crazy Japanese Toys". Didn't even know they made them in translucent vinyl back then. Now, just twist that Leaf Man's machette a lil bit to the left.

Definitely some of the best preserved vintage pieces seen here in a long time. They're all incredible but of course ya gotta feel extra love for Leaf Man and Taigan.

Re: Flynn is a bad influence
Amazing vintage pieces. The Leaf Man figure has amazing detail, what a crazy sculpt. The head and sword make him a stand out warrior.

Re: Flynn is a bad influence
yup , the leaf guy rules . now you just have to find the 3 mid size villians . just like the recent triple fighter villian releases lion maru also had proto type villians that were going to be made but were canceled . well , except for the leaf man . is there a clear popy kanagon ? i guess i will have to look in my book .

Re: Flynn is a bad influence
that leaf guy was probably the only true source of torture for me on the trip. I'm glad you snagged him.
