Seems like Hiddy has been having fun making monster hybrids out of his toys lately (Frankenfighter, Frankenpumpkin, now this).

This is a must have for me. Madball Mantis is my favorite SB fight figure (never cared for the Skull 2 Mantis), and neon colors just sounds so wonderful. I'm pretty sure the "red lace" is a pipe cleaner inside that clear shoulder area.

it looks like a complete mess (that's the point though...i think). i need to see one for real before i can decide if i like it or not.

With all the flourescent colors this should match the new twin brainz really well.

I think its a true Frankenstein project. What I mean is parts and colors all different or from other mantis past releases. I think its meant to be as hideous as possible just by signifying "Monster" in its name. I'm sold, gona have one soon hopefully.

Just lookn' at the flyer and I'm struck by a coupla things! First, why's the Madball head on the opposite side to where it is usually? and secondly, I'm curious if the 'Skull Mantis' wording (behind the main title) has any significance . . . possibly even a connection with the missing Madball Skull head.

Great observation. I was thinking (while reading your post) that there could possibly be another one thats features have been reversed with this ones features to make a second (was that clear or nonsense??) figure although still being different.

Clashing colors? Weird sculpts? Ugly as hell? I'd like one please!!!!! So cool, SB really can please a lot of different collectors. I have no interest in their slicker/classier color combos and designs, but crap like this I am ON. But than they have something for everyone.
