Re: mmmmm lizard? Don't you dudes watch "Bizarre Foods?" Tons of Asian (and some European too) cultures make rice wine/alcohol with animals in it. It's supposed to be more like medicine. One place, I can't remember where, had a whole baby bear in rice wine! NUTS! Usually it's home made in nondescript jars though, this looks a little more "production line."

Re: mmmmm lizard? I got a botle of Habu-Shu. It's a type of drink made in Okinawa. It has a snake in it, and honestly, it's really good. And it did clear up my throat when I was sick...man..i gotta get more of that stuff now. More info here.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habushu

That will get me better.It's one of my favorite shows, it can be kind of cheesey but it's more interesting to me than its similar brother show "No Reservations" which seems contrived and whiney at times (though I still like it.) Every episode I watch I end up going "NOW I GOTTA GO THERE AND EAT THAT!" I don't think they usually use it for big diseases, more stuff along the lines of colds or erectile disfunction (which seems to be what most that stuff is meant for, hmmm?)
