So when those red boxes flashed, and it had a number in it, were they saying how long it took to do each figure? If so, it takes 37 minutes to do the vinyl and 40 minutes to paint each figure. That video was so awesome. Japanese toys are such an art, truly. My appreciation for this hobby and way of life grows so much more each day. Totally rad!

Coming in a little late here, but thanks uploader for this!!! Not at all what I expected, I knew the vinyls were not produced in typical 'factories' per say...but geez, really small  Nice to see that those involved seemed very happy and enthusiastic about their work.

I have a DVD of Marusan's production and paint facilities (the word "facilities" being used very loosely here), I'll see if I can get it up online.

It seems that someone, I have no idea who, nor do I want to speculate as to their identity, has uploaded this TV show to Google Video:

Nah the guys been doing that for 37 years! and the other guy 40 years!
If they've been doing it for so many years without a face mask it cant be all that bad.
