Hi everybody !
This awesome custom by the great Paul Kaiju arrived at home this morning. I can't explain how I'm happy. Paul has done a very nice piece with this DIY toy named Kitoy and made by Tan-Ki, a french artist.
I love this toy and I would like to congrat Paul for this crazy art piece and thank him for the gift that you will see soon.

No friend this is not wood, it's a classic plastic art toy in Kaiju style thank to PK.

I don't know why you are all talking like that about that toy. Personaly I love it and a lot of people love it on Kidrobot forum and Altertoys forum (a french one).
If you talk like that because it doesn't look like a classic kaiju, I'm sorry but a Fulcraim is not a classic but you talk of it in toy section and there is a lot of examples.
I can understand that you don't love it but we need more respect please.

But I disagree with Darky and kidclam. I love this piece ! PK said that it was a challenge for him to do it but he was happy of the result and me too.
I think I have been attacked because I don't have the necessary number of post to be listened.
I thought people would be happy to see the kaiju style on other platforms, happy to see PK on a western art toy and happy to see how this small piece is detailed and beautiful.
Grieved for trouble.
I love it and it's enough for me.

Nikemsi, it's totally ok to put this up. In fact you can put all your toys here.

I am just embarrassed for you since you put this toy here and call it a kaiju. I just don't know what you would have expected knowing what kind of toys you produce and what this forum represents.

I am all for open mindedness but I am also for open honest opinions. I think this is what you are getting now. If you want to learn anything from posting here (what else would you do it for - besides straight promotion) maybe getting opinions is a good indication of who your toys are really catered for.

It's not about your number of posts either but if you have been here long enough you would know that by posting stuff like this will get you this response. I don't know what it'll benefit you by posting this here. You can "disagree" all you want but don't expect people to lie and smile about it.

It's ok Kidclam ! I don't want people to lie, but some respect for the artist. I met Paul thank to this forum and I thought it would be a pleasure to show it to everybody. I'm not here to do promotion or other thing like that. I don't want to make money with this post and I'm not here to sell my Kitoy. I think I will never sell it. I was just sharing my happiness and I never said that this toy was a kaiju.
Thanks anyway to everybody. I think you will love the gift Paul has done for me.

there is tremendous respect for pk on this board.

It's not who painted the toy, it's the toy itself. This is really not the place for western 'platform' toys, regardless of the artist. I think that has always been made clear.

let's not be so hard, we do have a section call American Idol which isn't necessary specific to kaiju related....

there are about 6 too many photos. two would've been sufficient.
it's obvious paul gave you the gift because he wanted to steer you in the "right" direction in terms of toy collecting. that popsoda mini has a classic "kaiju-style" paint job.

this toy's shape is so boring.

I too have had paul paint non-kaiju toys and own others that are non-kaiju that he painted for kaiju shows.


next time you post a lame feature-less platform toy custom please also post this picture:

No, Paul knows that I'm a popsoda minis collector since a long time and He has done this custom to add it to my collection and I thank him a lot ! I'm on the right way since a long time. I'm an eclectic collector and you are just a delimited one !
