It doesn't really hold a candle to the original Bemon, but on its own, it's pretty cool. I'd definitely like to pick one up if a version comes out that I really like.

Re: Hukkokudo BEMON ? or Target Earth BEMON ? After seeing these pics, I am very glad I went in on them.  The Standard looks like a Bullmark type take on bemon, the sculpt on the back is nuts, and the Mini rules on so many levels of filling a gap (Note: Gargamel Mini Smoggun!).

Re: Hukkokudo BEMON ? or Target Earth BEMON ? OOoo looks cool! They eye color is the only thing that bugs me. I'd prefer it if it had the little metallic discs in the eyes that the Hedoros and Smoggy have. The back is cool too, a clear painted version would be amazing.
I think it's a hard sell on this figure because of the SVHC version being such a staple and so amazing/rare/expensive. But I just separate the 2 and enjoy this for what it is. Plus I doubt I'll need to shell out anything NEAR the SVHC one for this guy.

Re: Hukkokudo BEMON ? or Target Earth BEMON ?  I really think these need the dots in the eyes and the crazy paint app. Compared to Bemons Bemons? (is that what they are called now?) that are crazy blended and have subtle color changes. These ones are really simple, chunky vinyl with little depth to them, obvious sprays and little detail work.

I think it's a re-sculpt, but licensed by the original company. I guess we don't know what the original creators intended or if they're even still around.
