you've opened them and displayed them?

For instance...I can't read Japanese (I can barely read English)...And all of the Damnedrons come in the same header with diff. Japanese writing.

How do you figure out which is which (if you didn't keep good notes/photos when you got them!)?

I tag the headers after I open them.
Otherwise, got to find pics of them bagged.
Can always ask people here.

Post-it-notes in the bag with the header. Easy as pie.

I pencil in the details of a toy on the inside of the header...very lightly so it can be erased if need be...

I would be worried about whatever makes the post it "posty" would cause some sort of damage over the long run...though I'm sure there's acid in the bags and that will stain the headers over time as well...

I don't stick the sticky to the header, just place it in the bag with it. Sometimes I use scratch paper too.

Post Re: Packaging? How do you match header cards to toys after...
i felt like an anal freak doing post-its but that's what i did SOMETIMES...but i go back probably 8 years on this stuff and only labeled "here and there".

i gotta sell a valuable zag or two along with a valuable damnedron or two and i'm having a terrible time on the packaging.

the other problem? i don't remember names of ANYTHING. i'm 42 years old afterall.

Yup. That's what I do. Drop a post-it or bit of paper with the toy information/brief description in the bag with the header.

I use post it notes too. I tried to place them in a book in the past but it just ended up being to much to keep up with it.

I tried to do the same but it didn't work out. I really like the book LivingDead put together. It's super organized. As silly as it is, I've always wondered what other people do as well. I just have all my headers in a box right now. I think I'm going to start labeling them with post it notes.

Why not keep the original bag too? Just write name/colorway on any old piece of paper put it in the bag with the header, and wrap it up nice and neat. Done.
That's what I've always done anyways.

I tag the header with one of those small bookmarks for books.
Put the header in the bag.
Toss it in my box.

I put a piece of paper, with a brief description, in the bag with the header and I use an accordion file to store them..

Wow, oldwhitehandsome, That is an extremely accomplished collection there man. I see such a diversity there its mindblowing, how the heck do you keep up on that much stuff and then forget names of products (just teasing). That is an awesome setup for sure.

Mark's book is so sweet and smart. I might just go ahead and start that, I'm not as deep in yet so it shouldnt take that long to put together.

Those GetFatMilk headers is great, what figure are they for? The book is a great idea as I tend to like header cards as much as the figure and always take them out to look at them.
