LOL I half-begged for Hossy to sell me the purple metallic Chaos, but nothin' doin.

Yeah Osaka is a cool place, and manageable in a couple of days. Lots of shops have come and gone though, so if anyone comes over, first check Hyper Hobby and various shop websites (Popsoda, Astrozombies, etc) to see what's still open.

Osaka is also a nice place to base for daytrips in the neighboring area: to Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, etc.

A slightly longer (but well worthwhile) trip is Hiroshima, but you'll need 2-3 days for that. Shinkansen from Osaka is somewhere between 3-5 hours.

I feel bad for not taking pics of the rest of the shop. If I can make it over tomorrow when I get back from Kobe, I will. Fortunately the shop is only a 5 minute walk from where I'm staying. But they close at 9 I think, so not sure if it will be doable before I head to Kanazawa on Monday. Ganbate!

Made it back to the shop tonight to snap more pics. Here are a couple I also added to my Flickr (so I can post them here). Another 15 shots are on my blog. (BTW, I took about 100 photos today in Osaka and Kobe. Hopefully on the train to Kanazawa I can sort them out and get them up on the blog tomorrow!)
