"and you can tell he's angry by the way he sighs, and grits his teeth, and he's always goin' like GAHHHHHLLLL!" Seriously, Palin has given SNL some of their best material in a decade. And she didn't even really have to try. http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/ ... en/773761/

Re: McCain picks Palin (and other election discussion)
folks,
regardless of intent, the palin joke was offensive to many people. it is not okay to make fun of people for things that are beyond their decisions, such as mental handicap and race. neither of those subjects are appropriate for negative or derogatory humor on this forum, end of story. please respect that.
the discussion of the election and people involved is of course fine, and encouraged. picking on the candidates for their words, actions, and positions is also fine, but keep it about that.
discussion of some of the evil shit other people are doing (such as that obama dollar bill image that has been circulating) is also fine, but be mindful that these are sensitive topics and treat them appropriately.
thanks!

Shades of Morton Downey (who faked being victimized by Nazi skinheads by drawing a swastika on his face backwards because he did it in the mirror).

Re: McCain picks Palin (and other election discussion)
This is even better. Regarding the "incident", Fox News/Noise VP John Moody had this to say: "If this incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting."Of course, this statement was made before the fact this (disgusting) hoax came to light. Now that the cat is out of the bag, Mr. Moody, care to dislodge your foot from your mouth, or will you just keep it there? Not in any way to imply that the McCain campaign had any prior knowledge of this stunt, or even knowledge of this persons existence. It seems to be the supporters of the McCain campaign that are doing the most to put the nail in the Republican candidates coffin this election.

Re: McCain picks Palin (and other election discussion)
I don't like Leykis, nor is he broadcasting in my area any more. Morton Downey, Jr. was a fixture on NJ/NY television. The "skinhead assault" was big news around here when it happened.

Re: McCain picks Palin (and other election discussion)
The tale of the backwards B gets stranger and stranger: http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpoints ... rs_inc.phpI think the subject of McCain's statements back during the anthrax scare (linking the material in the envelopes to Iraq) are more compelling, but this is getting pretty juicy. Also, I like this: http://mediamatters.org/items/200810230020?f=h_popularThis guy Corsi lives a couple of towns over. He just got deported from Kenya after trying to promote his anti-Obama book there. Go figure.

Check it out: http://focusfamaction.edgeboss.net/down ... letter.pdfA Christian from the future apparently got ahold of a DeLorean and sent us back a letter.
