 SLAYER
Slayer in studio and despite the lack luster Christ Illusion in '06, this 46 second clip contains a Brutal classic slayer riff. Fingers crossed. http://spin.com/articles/exclusive-video-slayer-studio

 Re: SLAYER
Now THAT'S more like it. I'll keep my hopes high and pretend Christ Illusion just didn't exist.

 Re: SLAYER
I don't think any of slayers albums are "disappointing". Slayer will always be slayer, aggressive as fuck and in your face. They will never change, and by the sound of the music clip it sounds like they haven't changed at all. IMO it sounds rad as hell

I always will buy new Slayer, don't even have to hear it first. I already know it will be heavier and better than most anything out there that calls itself 'Metal'. I've been listening to these guys since '86 and usually I'm still surprised at the level of musicianship and brutal riffs they are still able to come up with on each new album. Sure I still have my favorites, but have never been disappointed by any of their outputs. SLAAAAYYYYYEERRRRRR!

 Re: SLAYER
I remember reading an interview with King a few years back where he stated, something along the lines of: If we ever couldn't play this fast, we'd quit. When we can't we're not gonna slow it down like Metallica, we'll be done because what's the point?
Looks like they still can, and that makes me happy.
