I don't like these anyway, I wish they would have produced the AF1s. What was the retail on these?

They did produce the AF1s...they just released them to insiders only...but there was still a run bigger than most "super duper secret" sneaker releases.

these two new pairs are def. "do not want" material.

Had such a lot going on lately that even tho IK was given teh headsup on these I forgot all about it. they are pretty ugly - not into that new Air Max 90 sillhouette. Still, did anyone go to teh Montalban, and what was the scene like?

This is the exact reason I don't ever wear Nikes, even the ones that are not hideous and vaguely related to an artist I don't like very much.

I hate to say this. But it seems to me, as of late, Kaws has been a one trick pony, releasing the same look over and over again. I'd like to see him do something that really breaks his mold.

have you seen his paintings lately??? kaws is a good designer, less is more.

Honestly, that painting is WAY better than his straight-up Sponge Bob animation cell rip-offs.

Kaws' new stuff looks like Daleks old stuff.....

and I think his designs follow that less is more idea as well.
Less time on designing, more money.

This actually reminded me of James Marshall's (no longer using "Dalek", thank godzilla) new stuff. Except Marshall's is way better.
