LOL... I thought it was just the head from the Fortune Kid on an unrelated monk figure, but looking at it closer, it looks like it has paws for feet. I'd totally love one of those, and the white to pink fade mini-cats look nice. As do the white and red Fortune Kids.

I'm glad to see that the cats are getting some attention... I'm not sure how well the Fortune Kids are selling, but I really like 'em a lot.

You're right about the chess reference. Also reminds me of other classic 'boardgame' figures. I think this sculpt can appeal to a lot of different folks.
