I've seen a couple versions of the following Zag, but they have minor differences. What is the story on the differences (for instance, the one below has a different paint on the back spines)? Were these Kobe hobby show releases?
Thanks.

Gee, I really like that purple Zag from them the most. I like the sculpt quite a bit, but I've yet to come across a SK Zag that had a paintscheme that I just "had to have." Are there mini's of that Zag? I'd love some smaller scale Zags and Dorol's. I'm just real antsy waiting on my current Dorol to arrive :o

This just in today. Its from Hobbykon Kobe.
Anyone knows the production run?
Thought I'd show it as it is. No flash with light from the window.
Gotta love those...the pink eye ball.
SK keeps outdoing himself.

I think his website states the run at 103. Should be plenty around for a Shikaruna piece.

That said, I still need one if someone has an extra?

I think the "item number" actually describes it's place in the inventory rather than the edition size.
Might be an edition of 10 or 15...

I think so too. So far std runs are 50, only the 2 giant Zags are 100 ea.

Yeah, I don't really know. Someone else told me earlier that was the edition size. I placed an order for a different figure through an agent in Japan the other day, and as soon as the order was completed, the number went down by one from 9 to 8. That was when it had two numbers: what I thought was the edition run, and a second one which I thought indicated how many were left of that edition.

Does anyone know for sure?

The item number is just a code. 4th line from item number would be remaining stock count. This also applies only for figures thats available from the website. There won't be any inventory check for figures release during events. He will usually state the edition run under general description. For this Kobe Zag figure he mentioned it will be small and ltd run and he's bunking over at US toys booth. Somehow he did not mention quantity.

Ok.

What is the story behind the seeming high number of one-offs released at Kobe?

The guy is a machine...considering how many one-off Dororals there were, the high number of Kobe handpaints seems consistent with his output.

I can't believe there are still 8 of these new minis available on his website. I ordered mine a week ago and there appear to be no new orders since. Anyone know when it will actually be released?

Congrats, DYB!
But that's A LOT of moolah! I honestly did not expect it to go pass 20000 yen.

Looking forward to this delivery.....does anybody know if it's the same height as their standard Zag? It would be kind of nice if it was a little bit bigger, like the dorals and the chiwos.

Personally, I kinda wish it'd be his first entry into mini Zags :)
