 NBA-iverson traded to detroit I know there are 5 or 6 basketball fans but what does anyone think about Iverson going to Pistons? I think Nuggets got more out of the deal and Billups will do well with Anthony.

Re: NBA-iverson traded to detroit Short term i think it works for denver. They get out of the luxury tax area and get back an all-star and a very solid post guy. However long term it benefits Detroit. AI only has this year left on his deal, so after the season it will clear 20 million of cap space for them without giving up a ton. Billiups is 32 and McDyess is 34. I think it's a win win for both teams honestly. Detroit is still going to make the playoffs, however this deal isnt going to put them over boston by any means.
