Post The Original Skullbrain
For those who don't know what inspired Skullbrain, here's Devil Bado (with Saturn Ace in the background) from the Astromyu 5 series. I'm sure you'll see the similarities. More info on Astromyu 5 toys can be found in Super 7 issue number 1.

Notice the brain and pipecleaners.

Devil Bado's brian is also removeable. The skull and crossbones on his chest can be seen on the Secret Base Bee Man arm attachment.

Not all the s.b. toys are based off of vintage japanese kaiju but lots of smaller compainies use vintage inspiration be it sculpts or colorways. They really put love into
these toys and it shows.

There was a figure posted a while back that seemed to be the inspiration for the Barbarian.

Amazing! Were these figures "sparkers"? If not, what, if anything, does the button on their stomach do?
