I used to collect Alien stuff...always liked the original Giger design translated into toys...many of which were Japanese producers. Now we are seeing a new Marmit Alien in the sofubi tradition.

I think these are really great figures...well the porn stash Kane sculpt is questionable...

Hot Toys, I think, can make some cool stuff. Some of it's a little too "high end toys for people with 14 year old mentality" if ya get me, but overall nice stuff.

When they first put out the AVP stuff I kind of hoped they'd go back and do ALIEN. Than they did ALIENS, I get it, more popular. But these really made me happy when I saw them released. I haven't picked them up, I spend too much on vinyl to get any 1/6th any more, but when I can figure them in I'm jumping on them as well as the ALIEN. The only "Predator" figure I'd ever consider buying is Busey from 2 if they made one (here's hoping!)

Along with Medicom, Hot Toys is really pushing the 12"/ 1/6th figure "doll" market.

Yeah, I hear ya...My collecting monies always go to vinyl as there is always a huge list of 'wants'. Besides I have space restraints... I wish I could have another room (more like wing) in my house to devote to misc. coolness like these Alien 1/6 figs.

lol Busey

I hear that.

They're cool toys, and I love Alien... but I'm looking forward to the Marmit ones a lot more
