 Dempa-Gon Outside To Play
What can a group of Dempa-gon's do when you get them outside as a group to play? At first, they were a little hestitant to do anything but just stand there dumb founded Everybody wave.... Complex took the first initiative to get some climbing in before it started to rain And then V.1 not wanting the new guy on the block to have all the fun decided to climb the stump as well Then everyone decided to join in What a silly Demp Everyone decided at the end of the play to take a group picture on a stump Hey.....Why didn't anybody wait around for me?

 Re: Dempa-Gon Outside To Play
These shots are really cool too because of the opposite nature of the scenery and the figure. Technological junk pile in clean and crisp nature. It comes off cool. Like if the world ended but computers and machines were smart enough to build themselves out of junk we left than roam free in the wilderness. Did I think about this too much?
I'm too paranoid to do a lot of outside shots, I'll somehow place one in bird crap without realizing it. I'm glad others aren't though, I like the pics that come from them.

 Re: Dempa-Gon Outside To Play
not too deep thinking that at all & sounds like a future that may one day exist. seeing these & your "shop class" pics makes me want to take my monsters out and about as well.
also & in particular, Autopsy these ones left me wanting to see similar shots of gangs of Gasbawers & a gundan of Death Menargo!

 Re: Dempa-Gon Outside To Play
I liked the sharp lines of the Demps to the nature background...but like your thoughts about nature vs. automation. I wouldn't worry to much about getting your figures dirty with nature since only the feet are mostly getting dirty and most stuff washes off....just stay away from sticky stuff like tree sap or tar

Wow - nice group of Dempas. They seem to get along well too! Love the custom. Who's it by? The painterly technique really fits the sculpt well.

Thank you leadster, I customized the Demp...here are some other pictures showing front and back as well: Bryce - the Demp you are referring to in the picture is Ver 4.0 and is a very dark Greenish/Blue....Got it on YJA about a month ago but haven't seen another one since

 Re: Dempa-Gon Outside To Play
this one was just a patchi summit release
wondering its influence.. style reminds me of art by manga artist Leiji Matsumoto.
imho that custom is as nice as any production model, liking the oxide accents on the hip.

If you're talking about the greenish-black one, that was a Super Fest release from late September. Its the black King Joe version.

 Re: Dempa-Gon Outside To Play
Thanks VELOCITRON, I didn't know what the dark blue one was referencing. So does anyone know if the Mandarake ones are based on anything I'm missing? Or are they the few non-tribute Demps?
